Since 1887, the Penn Museum has been open and striving to be a place to collect and display the histories of both individuals and groups of humans. Its aim is to display archeological and anthropological artifacts to better understand the human experience.
Galleries exhibit apparatus from a variety of geographical locations and their respective cultures including Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and many more. Special exhibits and events allow visitors to engage with the displayed content and hear from experts in the fields of anthropology and archeology to deepen understanding and hear narratives surrounding museum content.
The Penn Museum is open to the public each week from Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase online.
