About the Penn Museum

Since 1887, the Penn Museum has collected and display the histories of both individuals and groups of humans. Its aim is to display archeological and anthropological artifacts in order to better understand the human experience. Galleries exhibit artifacts from a variety of geographical locations including Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and many others. Special exhibits and events allow visitors to engage with the displayed content and hear from experts in the fields of anthropology and archeology to deepen their understanding of museum content.
